Jake has more than a decade of experience working in Gallagher’s Real Estate and Business Transactions Group, where he primarily represents developers and owners in real estate development transactions.
Jake’s work spans from new construction projects, to re-financing of existing projects, to disposition. Jake’s practical and measured approach is an asset to clients in navigating complex legal hurdles. His experience spans market-rate and affordable housing, senior housing/assisted living, as well as mixed-use projects. Jake also has a significant experience representing landlords in commercial lease negotiations, as well as assisting clients with general contract review in support of their day-to-day business operations. In addition to his real-estate related work, Jake also represents lenders on a variety of commercial loan transactions.
Jake earned his JD from The Dickinson School of Law in 2015. During law school, he served as an Associate Editor of the Penn State Law Review and gained hands-on experience as a summer associate at Gallagher.

- Represented developer in acquisition, development and financing of a $90M mixed-use affordable housing project in Baltimore, MD.
- Represented developer in the acquisition, development and financing of a multi-phased mixed-use apartment and condominium project in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
- Represented lender in a $150M loan facility to finance clean-energy and energy efficiency related improvements.
Beyond Gallagher
A husband and father of two, Jake values quality time with his family. An avid golfer, he enjoys hitting the course whenever possible. When not on the course, Jake is often in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes
