For the first time, Gallagher attorneys and staff volunteered at the House of Ruth Maryland on North Charles Street in midtown Baltimore. The intimate partner violence center helps countless battered women and their children find safety and security after abuse from their partners. Gallagher employees packed donated hygiene products into purses that were then delivered to distribution sites and safe houses in the area. These donations included shampoo and conditioner, toothbrushes, and hand sanitizer. Along with the necessary hygiene products, the bags also included pampering items such as nail polish, lipstick, earrings and bracelets—anything that may put a smile on the recipient’s face. Gallagher appreciates the opportunity to form this new relationship with the House of Ruth Maryland. We look forward to assisting in the future by conducting donation drives at our office for The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Donation Center and participating in the Adopt A Family program for the holidays.
