Mike Henigan’s practice is focused primarily on the representation of lenders, developers and equity investors in all facets of the acquisition, development, financing and disposition of affordable multifamily housing and other commercial properties. Much of Mike’s national practice is devoted to representing clients in the financing of the construction and rehabilitation of apartment projects through the use of tax-exempt bond financing. Mike also has extensive experience representing lenders and borrowers in the restructuring of troubled loans. As part of his general business practice, Mike also has significant experience representing equity investors, lenders and developers in transactions involving federal low-income housing tax credits, and has represented lenders in the financing of renewable energy projects. Mike has also served as a panelist on multifamily housing workshops sponsored by the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
